2024 Graduate Fellowship Award

Michigan State University fellowship nominee, Nikita Nel, was awarded the Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship award. Nikita graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Biotechnology. While attending MSU she took part in activities both academic and co-curricular where she showed exemplary qualities such as leadership, vision and dedication. She was a leader within the undergraduate research ambassador program and mentored over 35 students, helping them to obtain an undergraduate research position on campus. Nel maintained a stunning academic and interpersonal record including being in the Honors College and having been selected for the 2023-2024 MSU Homecoming Court. Nel will pursue an M.D. at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
